Fantastic Start to Flippa Ball!

The brand new Te Atatu Peninsula Flippa Ball League is underway, with the first games being played yesterday at Swimsation’s Peninsula Primary School Pool.

Over 100 players from 11 teams and 6 schools descended on the pool, along with their family and friends. The weather was perfect, with all available doors being opened to moderate the temperature. Over 2 hours, the teams played 6 games, scoring a total of 51 goals for the afternoon. Adapting to the rules (for example having to only use one hand!) was a challenge to begin with, but the players showed remarkable progress throughout their games, which is sure to continue across the term.

We look forward to seeing the progress of this league and its growth throughout the year. If you are interested in finding out more about Flippa Ball, click here or email us at!
