Notice of SGM and 2018 Season Prize Giving

UPDATE:

The planned AGM for the 9th of March has been changed to an SGM for constitutional changes, with the AGM to be held later in the year. Members are still welcome to attend this General Meeting which will begin at 5PM, followed by prize giving at 6PM.

The 35th Annual General Meeting of Waitakere Water Polo Club and our 2018 Season Prize Giving will be held on the 9th of March at the Ponsonby Rugby Club, 1 Stadium Road, Western Springs. The AGM will begin at 5PM and prize giving at 6PM.

The Committee would like to encourage members to come along to be a part of the AGM and consider joining or supporting the Committee in 2019, which promises to be a big year for the Club. As per our constitution, the necessary quorum for an AGM is the greater of 10 voting members or 5% of those present and entitled to vote.

You may have noticed that this year’s AGM is earlier than usual – this is because at our 2018 AGM we updated our Club constitution, which included a change to our financial year and thus the AGM date range.

Our annual prize giving is always great club event, where we get to acknowledge the success of our players throughout the past season and the hard work put in by our volunteers. There will be food provided and a cash bar available.
