About the League
The Te Atatu Peninsula League is a brand new Flippa Ball competition for West & Central Auckland primary schools. Games run for 8 weeks each term, on Sunday afternoons from 3pm, for all four school terms. The league is based out of Peninsula Primary’s heated, indoor pool. Flippa Ball is a great sport for building water confidence (in a shallow pool) and team skills while having fun! The only equipment needed is togs, we provide the rest. A usual team size is around 10, with 7 players in the water at once. New schools are more than welcome – let us know if you need any support in getting a team together or with coaching! We can also help individual players to get involved in another school’s team or a combined team. If you have any questions, please email Margaret and Genna at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The League is held at the Peninsula Primary School Pool – 22 Waipani Rd on the Te Atatu Peninsula. Look out for our flags!
Our coordinators are Margaret Chase & Genna Martin. Margaret has been involved in water polo for many years, and Genna brings significant Flippa Ball experience from the Epsom League.
