About the League

The Western Year 9 & 10 Water Polo League has started up last year, catering to year 9 & 10 school teams across West and Central Auckland. For many players, this is natural evolution from Intermediate school Water Polo and there intro to the world of High School Water Polo.

We will commence our Year 9&10 Water Polo League at West Wave on Friday Nights in Term 2 (continuing into Term 3). The first date is going to be 226 (2nd Week of Term 2). The deadline for entries is TBC. In total, we will play 11-12 weeks over terms 2 and 3.

Further info about dates, rules and general protocol will be sent out later at the start. As we are going to be making some small changes this year in order to make the league fun and enjoyable for all types of players.

Team cost to enter the League is $800.00 GST inclusive.

Where can it take me?

Waitakere Water Polo Club provides pathways for players to continue playing water polo beyond intermediate school, with programs for all ages from Under 12s through to Seniors, who compete in regional and national competitions.

We can also help to organize combined teams between schools, and accept individual players into our invitational team(s) if your school is unable to field a team.
