Under 12 Overview
Registration Costs: $280 per year plus fees for the tournaments attended ($70 a term).
Registration cost includes:
~40 weeks of training (around 10 weeks in each term)
Mini-competition in Term 4
T-shirt for new members
Training starts in Term 1.
Any player who was 11 or younger on January 1 is eligible to play. We have players of all abilities and welcome new players throughout the year - come along and give it a go! Just flick Kylie an email in advance.
Training
U12 training will be on Sundays, 2-5pm for Term 2.
Within this three-hour slot, trainings are split among experience levels.
Beginner: 2-3:30pm
Experienced: 2-4pm
Development: 3-5pm
We also offer an U12 Swim which is available on Monday and Tuesday, 7-8pm. It is $90 for the term for a single day (eg. swim for Monday is $90 for the term, doing Monday and Tuesday is $180* for the term).

Tournaments for 2024
There is no regular competition for this age group. Instead, players take part in several competitions throughout the year depending on interest and availability:
Tauranga U12 Tournament – Baywave Aquatic Centre, Tauranga | Friday 26th - Sunday 28th April
Mountfort Park U12 Tournament – Manurewa Aquatic Centre | Friday 31st - Monday 3rd June
Jelly Belly U12 Tournament – AUT Millennium/National Aquatic Centre | Friday 28th June - Sunday 30th June
U12 Tournament of Olympic Hopefuls – Water World, Hamilton | Saturday 26th - Monday 28th October
Players can join at any time and train and pay for each tournament individually or train and pay for the entire season. You will need to have paid the term fee to participate in the tournament in that term. Players may also be offered the option to play up in our Under 14 programme.
