Calendar, seasons and fees

With the exception of under 12's, each age group is distinctly split into two terms of 'in season' and two terms of 'off season', which align with school terms. Fees are charged separately for ‘in season’ sessions to ‘off season’.

U12’s

Train and play 4 tournaments across the year from term 1- 3.

All other age groups

Age group 'in season' involves;

• 1 term of training (including swim training).

• Followed by a term of training (including swim training), plus Auckland league games held on weekends.

• Nationals at the end of the season (Nationals are sometimes held at the beginning of the following term), and sometimes additional tournaments may also occur. These are not compulsory, but are encouraged. The cost of any additional tournaments or attending Nationals is not including in the club's ‘in season’ fees.

• Seniors (men and women) currently play Auckland league in Term 1 and National Division 2 league across terms 1 and 2.

Off season and swim training

We also provide ‘off season’ training and swim training for those who want to continue with their training or build their swimming fitness outside the main season. Fees are charged separately to the ‘in season’ fees and varies as to whether the player joins ‘off season’ training or swim training.

Registration with Water Polo NZ

All players need to be registered with Water Polo NZ and therefore pay a WPNZ affiliation fee.

Your age group coordinator will provide the details of this once a player is registered for their season.
