Under 14 Overview
The official playing season for U14’s is in term 4. Players trial at the end of term 2 and start to train in Term 3. Off season training options also available.
There are girls and boys grades and once teams are selected they will play in a weekly Auckland league in term 4, followed by the Division 1 and Division 2 Nationals at the end of the year.
Some under 12’s at the end of their u12 season may be selected to play u14s to help them transition for the next year. See our Team Selection Policy
Registration Costs: $100 registration fee + $400 over 2 terms.
Registration costs include two sessions per week and additional trainings.
Auckland League
We participate in the Auckland Under 14 Water Polo League. Teams will be entered on the basis of player numbers. Auckland League runs in Term 4.

National Championships
New Zealand Water Polo runs Nationals and is separate from the Auckland League. Teams may be re-trialed for Nationals based on players interested in attending. The number of teams going to Nationals depends on the number of players who are able and willing to go. There is an additional entry fee for associated costs with this (entry fee, travel and accommodation etc). In 2026, Division 1 Nationals will be held in Auckland from Monday 14th to Thursday 17th December and Division 2 Nationals will be held in Auckland from Thursday 10th to Sunday 13th December.
